Assalamuaikum ,

Just to share with you. I started playing the CD firstly last Saturday after Suboh. My tears just rolled down my cheeks without knowing why, then it hit me. Yes, the way Habib Hassan AlKaff recites Qasidah Burdah really touch my soul. I thought perhaps that was the first time I heard it in full. On the same day, I played the CD again, & again my tears just rolled down my cheeks. On Sunday, its the same thing when I listened to Qasidah Burdah
It's just the way Habib Hassan recital, it was very melancholy and you feel like him longing to be with our beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.

I pray most of our friends & colleagues bought this CD.

Sout Ilaahi had release a new Qasidah album by Shaykh Fakhruddin Owaisi al Madani entitled " Melodies of Madinah" cd. A collection of Classical Qasidahs as sung in Madinah. The album contains recitation of the Qasidah in traditional Hijazi style of Makkah and Madinah which combines the best of Syrian, Egyptian, Yemeni and Moroccan tunes, with a dash of Arabian desert chanting. Although there is no music, his voice able to capture our hearts who are longing for the love of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. He was especially train to master the classical Madih Qasidah's song all over the Arab and Islamic world.

Biography

Shaykh Fakhruddin Owaisi grew up in in al Madinah al Munawwarah and it is there that he completed his education. He is the descendant of Syaidina Owaisi al Qarani. He holds a MA Degree (with Distinction) in Religious Studies from the University of Cape Town, and is at present the Imam of the Hout Bay Mosque in Cape Town, South Africa, and lecturer at the International Peace University of South Africa. He is the student of the great al-Sayyid Muhammad Alawi al-Maliki of Makkah in the sciences of the Shari'ah and a Muqaddam of Shaykh-al-Islam Hassan Cisse of Senegal in the Tariqah Tija

Biography:

Jamhuri is one of the imam of Baitur Rahman Mosque, Aceh. He is a Hafiz Quran. He is also a university graduate in Jakarta. He is the murid of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil Haqqani and Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani. Today, he is spreading the beautiful teachings of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. from city to another with peace, love and tolerance. He is also leading the Khatm Khawajan (zikir) of Naqshbandi Haqqani in Aceh.

Biography: Habib Syech bin Abdul Kader Assegaf

Habib Syech bin Abdul Kader Assegaf was born in Solo, Indonesia. When he was young he was the ‘muazzin’ for the Assegaf Mosque in Solo. At times, he read the Qaisdah at Masjid Riyadh with the late Habib Anis al Habsyi. He regu-larly led the singing and reading of Qasidah and ‘Slawat’ with Majlis of Ahbaabul Mushthofa with the various Wirid such as Ratib al Attas, the Diwan and ‘Slawat’ of HabibAli al Habsyi and the Diwan and Qasidah of the fa-mous Imam Abdullah al Haddad.
